NICE RUN FOR PLL TOC TEAMS; NEXT STOP ALL STARS Placentia teams had an exciting year in this year's Tournament of Champions. PLL sent three teams to the District Championship; Junior Phillies, Major Braves and Major Dodgers. With impressive fashion, the teams all had a great first weekend sweeping through the first two rounds and landing in the semi-final. Although both Major Division teams fell one run short in their respective games, the Junior Phillies found themselves playing for the Championship against Golden Hills. After a strong comeback late in the game, the Phillies fell just short losing in the final 8-6 finishing Placentia's run in the tournament. PLL sends a THANK YOU to our championship teams for providing a buzz of excitement that could be felt throughout the city. But the excitement begins as PLL is sending four age groups to the national tournament which could take PLL all the way to Williamsport!
